This is not worth paying for…google satellite image and weather search will yield better and more hi-res results. The resolution on this is horrible and the information very basic. How can anyone charge for this oudated app? Save your money and move on.

Not worth $9 for sure. I’ve used free weather apps that work and look better than this one. The radar dosen’t always load right, and the app crashes once in a while. It would be nice if the temp could show in the taskbar (next to the battery, date & time).

I have this app on my desktop and iPhone, and it’s always the first place to check for approaching weather and alerts.

it is a great program. it is very helpful.

This is not your typical weather app. Unique visual design presents a local and world view of radar weather. The seven day local forecast contains all of the basic measurements including severe weather notification. And I have found it’s weather forecasts to be very accurate. All this at a reasonable price. A good value for the money.

Never had as much problem with a app ever..rebooting,reinstalling app does not solve problem of missing map of locations..it does not work all the time…contacted support…followed instructions of rebooting my 27 inch Mac probably 20 times and reinstalling app…only thing that works is showing the radar but not the city locations or state…patience has led to frustration to the point that I do want a REFUND for this purchase…..here we are in June since my purchase..and it still works intermittantly….will stick with clear day that has worked consistantly well…Never having to reboot or reinstall app with clear day app…buyer beware!

I like the premise of the app, but it needs some work. First week of use would not fill the full screen on computer, second week would not show radar returns either side. third week the right side radar return working fine, but left side stuck showing same radar return everyday. Will not give a clear radar return picture when zooming into a specific location. Get these bugs fixed and it will be a great app. Would have to think twice before I purchased this app if I had do do it all over again. Has great potential but needs work.

Over all this is a really good app. It would be a lot better if you could have a full screen radar map and also when switching to hourly mode it showed it on the main screen.

The radar image will not display on the Local panel. Although it does display on the US panel. It worked for a while, but then just conked out. Also, I was expection a app with more options. For instance, a surface pressure imaging, showing fronts and pressure cells.

Good app for my Mac to keep up with the weather and storms headed our way, a common spring time occurrance.

Just purchased and the screen cannot seem to be enlarged being as well the resolution would even be worse when you zoom in the least. I compared it with the free NOAA web sight and it seems to be a little clearer when zooming. I was looking for a better resolution and did not get it. My Radar US on my iPhone seems to be much clearer and was hoping this would be evenbetter.

I don’t really like the app. The resolution on my Storm app on my iphone has much better resolution and allows for many more options than this app. Also, this app does not give severe weather alerts or anything of that nature. Nor does it show watches or warnings. The weather sites in Safari do much better than this app. Don’t waste your 10 bucks

I live in Florida and watch the weather closely to increase my enjoyment planning. After using a few other programs I found this works well. Not perfect but the best so far. The dual screen is great for close in planning and for longer term planning to avoid the rain.

I use it every day. I would like to see better resoultion on the local radar map when zoomed in. Very blocky. The national map should be animated too.

One of the best radar apps for the iMac. Shows the best local view as well as national map. Highly recommend.

This is one of those apps that just works. When you pull this app, it immediately shows you a great visual of radar of your desired location. Love the forecast feature. Easy to interprete with in seconds, so you know what is going on and quickly. When you Have To know what the weather is doing, this is your app.

This app has become my go to application residing on one of my desktops. Beautiful presentation, consistent operation. The application is missing some polish. First, the ‘Preferences’ start every time, regardless if you call them up; The screen is not sizable; and you cannot use keystrokes to close the application. Each of these (except sizable screens) are trivial to fix, and will hopefully be provided in an upcoming update (hint hint).

I would give that 5th star if I could option for an array of live temperatures for my area to be displayed on the right hand screen. Seeing live temperatures across my area is as important to me as the weather. Other than that over a week with this app and I love it. It bascially was what I envisioned for the mac.
